Customer Billing Representative

Reporting to: Supervisor/Manager Title

As a Billing Representative at Fair Trade Outsourcing, you will be crucial in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our clients. Your primary objective is to maintain precise records and contribute to the overall efficiency of the billing operations. Your principal objective is to manage billing processes effectively, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for services rendered to clients. Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee billing compliance, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to the financial success of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate accurate and timely client invoices based on service agreements and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with billing policies and procedures.
  • Verify, classify, and record billing data to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Organize and maintain billing documentation for audit and reference purposes.
  • Act as a point of contact for client billing inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to address client billing-related concerns.
  • Monitor and facilitate the timely receipt of client payments.
  • Send bill reminders and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Resolve discrepancies and billing issues in coordination with internal teams.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven working experience as a Billing Representative or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with billing processes
  • Data entry skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets and billing software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Customer service orientation and ability to address client concerns effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (preferred-BUT NOT REQUIRED).
